Wongamat is home to some of the most exclusive condos in all of Pattaya; some are low-rise and some high-rise. The area is still relatively quiet in spite of all the development in recent years with an array of upmarket restaurants. The area is clean, and the beach area is reasonable although it can be prone to erosion during some periods of the year. At night time the area is quiet although the bright lights of Pattaya are easily accessible if you so desire. Here are some of the best high-rise condos in the area.
The Cove
The Cove is arguably the most luxurious condo in Pattaya and is uniquely designed. The property is limited to just 100 units over 18 floors, so you quickly appreciate that they are larger than average. It can be found at the southern end of Wongamat Beach just off Naklua Soi 18. The Cove has a three-tiered swimming pool and state-of-the-art fitness centre.
Northpoint
Northpoint was completed in 2010 and is situated on Soi 18 right on Wongamat Beach. It was constructed by Raimon Land and comprises of two almost identical towers. The units are well finished off with most offering residents a sea view. The condo has a beachfront swimming pool that includes a flume, well-manicured gardens and two further pools situated mid-way up each tower where you will also find fitness rooms.
The Zire
Located next to Northpoint is The Zire, the sister condo of Northpoint. It is a smaller property but built in a similar style and has very similar features in terms of its appearance. This is an “ultra-modern” condominium with superb facilities including the Glass House restaurant which is on the beachfront. The Zire is slightly cheaper than Northpoint, which can make it more appealing.
The Riviera Wongamat
The Riviera Wongamat was completed in 2018 and can be found on Naklua Soi 16. It is another property that comprises of two buildings with most units having sea views. It is approximately 200 metres from the beach with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The Riviera is a quality condominium with excellent communal features.
Wongamat Tower
Wongamat Tower is again situated on Naklua Soi 16 and is around 100 metres from the beach. This impressive modern property has excellent communal facilities with all units being relatively spacious. It is a cheaper property than some of the others on the list but is still a quality condominium.
The Palm
The Palm is located at the far end of Naklua Soi 16 and is in a quiet location. The condo has direct beachfront access to a small cove and is very secluded. The facilities are superb and include a beachfront swimming pool and garden area. All units have sea views.
Baan Plai Haad
Baan Plai Haad is located opposite The Palm and is an upmarket condo around 300 metres from the beach. It has a rooftop pool that offers some stunning views across to the Gulf of Thailand. Again the units are slightly larger, and the communal facilities are first rate.
