Jomtien is probably most commonly associated with low-rise condos, but the area does have a great selection of high-rise options as well. Some are well-established properties that have a superb reputation and have managed to fight off the competition over the years, while others are stunning modern developments that would look great in any major city around the world. Here are just seven that we have picked out.
1. The Riviera Jomtien
The Riviera Jomtien is located on Jomtien Second Road, close to the top of Soi 12. It is a superb, upmarket development from one of the best developers in the city. It is ultra-modern and has excellent facilities with all of the units being superbly finished. Not surprisingly, this is a condo that is very much in demand.
2. Cetus
Cetus is a 49-storey property consisting of two towers and was completed back in 2014. It is situated at the southern end of Jomtien Beach and is a modern property that manages to incorporate a resort-style feel. Not surprisingly, it offers magnificent panoramic views from all units and has excellent facilities. One of the most useful things about Cetus is that it is still on a baht bus route.
3. Reflection
Reflection is a grandiose condo which stands head and shoulders above others in the area and can be found around halfway along Jomtien Beach Road. The units have floor to ceiling windows offering residents unspoilt views, and all of the units have large balconies which are great places to relax in the evenings.
4. View Talay 7
There are several View Talay properties in Jomtien, but we have decided to opt for View Talay 7 which can be found at the northern end of Jomtien Beach Road. The units are all large are represent excellent value for money. On the ground floor, you will find an array of shops and restaurants. The facilities are good, making this a perfect option for those who perhaps have a smaller budget.
5. Grand Condo
The Grand Condo Jomtien is situated on Jomtien Second Road opposite Soi 9 and is a modern condo with superb facilities. It is a large property and has good facilities. It is also well located for local amenities, including shops, restaurants and bars. The Grand Condo is a good option for families wishing to live or visit the area.
6. Metro Condo
Metro condo is located close to Reflection and is a slightly older condo that has stood the test of time exceedingly well. The property is almost on the beachfront and offers residents magnificent views from their large units. If you are looking to pick up and bargain to renovate then, this property is a superb option. It is well located for the beach, restaurants and shops.
7. Jomtien Complex
Another of the older options, Jomtien Complex, is located close to View Talay 7. It has an eclectic mix of rooms that vary significantly in size, style and design. As it is an older property, the rooms are generally larger and have thicker walls giving residents that extra privacy. Jomtien Complex is in the heart of Jomtien close to bars, restaurants and shops.
