As we enter 2021, a year that we hope will be a fresh beginning; many of us will be looking to shed those extra KGs that we have put on in the last few months; not just over the Christmas and New Year period! We all know that it is something that we should do, but for many of us, it is easy to put off until tomorrow. However, in Pattaya, there is no excuse to take this approach with many condos having their own fitness facilities as well as the abundance of quality gyms that are located all around the city. Here are just a few of them.
1. The Brick Gym
The Brick Gym is a relatively new establishment in Pattaya and has been making waves on social media, and it has proved very popular with Thais and expats. It represents excellent value for money and has superb facilities, especially in terms of free weights, something that can be lacking in quantity in some of the smaller gyms in town. The Brick Gym can be found close to Jameson Irish Pub and Nova Atrium between Second and Third Road.
2. Fitness 7
Fitness 7 has become one of the most established gyms in Pattaya having opened back in 2016. It is situated in The Avenue Shopping Mall on Pattaya 2nd Road. They have an extensive range of machines and free weights along with everything that you would need for a comprehensive cardio workout. They also have personal trainers on hand should you require additional help with your training as well as offering Muay Thai classes.
3. Fairtex
No list of gyms in Pattaya would be complete without the inclusion of Fairtex which is situated on North Pattaya Road. It is undoubtedly one of the most expensive options in Pattaya, but the facilities are second to none and designed for professional athletes. That said, anyone is welcome, and they have a helpful and friendly staff that are more than happy to help you on the road the fitness. In addition to the gym, they also offer Muay Thai, squash, and tennis amongst many other sports.
4. Castra Gym
The Castra Gym is popular with residents of East Pattaya and is located at the top of Soi Khao Talo. It is similar to many of the other gyms on our list in that they have a wide range of free weights, cardio apparatus, and other fitness machines. Castra Gym also offers visitors a selection of classes as well as personal training. One attractive benefit of this gym is that they have several membership options ranging from weekly to annual, there is a chance to save more money.
5. Coco Fitness
Coco Fitness is one of the newer editions to the scene and opened after Mike Shopping Mall underwent a major redevelopment at the time of the launch of Terminal 21. As you would expect, it is a modern complex with state-of-the-art equipment and machines. It can be accessed from Beach Road and is on the 4th floor. While you are training, you can take in the views across the bay. When it first opened this was one of the more expensive gyms, but they have now dropped their prices to be in line with their direct competition.
