There is little doubt that Pattaya has an abundance of excellent condos throughout the city. However, surprisingly, some even in prime locations often get overlooked. There are some superb options that never quite seem to make it on to the radar, even with some real estate agents, and this is disappointing when you consider their quality. Here are six properties in Pattaya which you may have heard mentioned, but you know very little about.
1. Tree Tops
The Tree Tops Condo is located just off Thappraya Road so is ideal for Pattaya, Pratamnak, and Jomtien. The fact that it is almost between locations may be why it gets overlooked. It is also a 12-storey property, so not really what you would associate with either low-rise or a high-rise condo. Nevertheless, it is a stylish property with well-apportioned units and excellent facilities. It is well worth taking a look the next time you are in the area.
2. Pattaya City Resort
Pattaya City Resort is a slightly older condo which is located mid-way up South Pattaya Road and for several years was viewed as being a little bit “too far out of town”. However, as the city has expanded, that is certainly no longer the case. All the units are slightly larger than average, which makes it more appealing and the facilities are as good as any other condo in the area.
3. Diamond Suites
Diamond Suites is situated on the brow of Thappraya Road, not far from Tree Tops. As a result, the reasons why it gets overlooked are probably quite similar. The property has a serviced apartment feel which can put some people off, although others find it more appealing. The room sizes again are slightly larger, and the property has excellent facilities including several swimming pools and a restaurant.
4. Ananya Naklua
Ananya Naklua is a luxury low-rise property which is located at the northern end of Naklua. It has a prime seafront location with a huge swimming pool overlooking the sea. The units are very well-apportioned, and once again, the facilities and security are superb. However, as the property is around 4km from Wongamat Beach, it perhaps doesn’t appeal to the mass market and for this reason, gets overlooked.
5. The Chezz
The Chezz is located on Soi Yume behind Big C Extra in Central Pattaya. This is a relatively quiet soi although it does have several other condos close by. The rooms are all of a reasonable size, are well furnished, and the complex has good facilities. It represents excellent value for money, but its location is not ideal if you don’t have your own transport. If you do, or you are quite comfortable taking motorbike taxis, then this is perfect!
6. Prime Suites
Prime Suites is another of the slightly older but excellent quality condos in Central Pattaya. It is located just off Pattaya Klang, not far from Harbor Mall. It is well known for having sizeable units that all have large balconies. It is hard to see too many faults with Prime Suites, other than maybe it’s close proximity to Sukhumvit Road but it still, inexplicably frequently gets overlooked.
