Jomtien is one of the most popular locations in Pattaya. It is reflected in the fact that many buildings are in the region of 20 years old. Jomtien has expanded rapidly in the last decade, but as these buildings have been around for a long time, they are in excellent locations close to the beach or other main roads. Even with the vast choice of new developments in the area, these buildings remain popular. Here are seven excellent condos that are a little older.
1. Jomtien Complex
Jomtien Complex is situated just before the turn onto Jomtien Beach Road and is an imposing 39-storey building with a restaurant/bar and several shops on the ground floor. The units are all spacious and vary in design with many offering sea views. The security and facilities are excellent, and it is a building that is always in high demand.
2. Jomtien Plaza
Jomtien Plaza is located at the northern end of Jomtien Beach Road and is a huge building containing everything from studios to 5-bedroom units. Although it is an older building, it is well maintained, and the facilities are excellent. It is conveniently placed for baht bus routes, restaurants, bars and shops in the area.
3. Jomtien Condotel
Jomtien Condotel is located further along Beach Road and is a low-rise property with a notable stepped appearance on the front. The building contains an eclectic mix of units ranging from studios to six bedrooms! It has some good facilities although they aren’t quite to the same standard as the previous buildings, but this is reflected in the price.
4. Metro Condo
Metro Condo is situated midway along Beach Road and was property that until recently stood taller than anything else close by. Almost all units in the building offer impressive views, although other developments have restricted these in recent years. The facilities are well maintained; however, the individual units do vary in quality.
5. Jomtien Beach Condo
Jomtien Beach Condo is situated of Jomtien 2nd Road and is a quality property containing everything from studios to two-bedroom units. The facilities are good and its location, just off Beach Road, means that the units are slightly lower in price than in some of the other buildings of a similar age, not to mention the newer smaller properties close by.
6. Angket Condo
Angket Condo is located just off Soi Wat Bun Kanchana and is a building that has been refurbished several times in recent years. As such, internally at least, it appears to be a newer building than what it is. It has studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units along with good security and facilities. It is another development which represents good value for money.
7. Chateau Dale Condo
Chateau Dale Condo is part of the Chateau Dale Complex on Thappraya Road close to Thepprasit Road and is a mix of low-rise buildings and a high-rise. The condo is well-maintained, and the security and facilities are extremely good for a building of its age. It is set back some way from the road, so it is quieter than many other buildings on our list.
