As many long-term residents of Pattaya will be aware, many of our favorite restaurants have sadly closed their doors, never to reopen. However, many still survive and are offering fantastic discounts to entice people in. While it is virtually impossible to mention every restaurant offering deals, in this article, we have included just six great restaurants that perhaps don’t always get the recognition they deserve. We would be delighted to hear your thoughts.
1.Tigglebitties
Tigglebitties is a long-established bar and restaurant in South Pattaya. It carries a robust American theme in terms of its menu, with Taco Tuesday being one of the favorites. Although the menu prices have stayed the same, they are now offering free delivery via hotmeals2u, which means that you can enjoy their delicious food in the comfort of your own home.
2.Suggestions
Suggestions are in East Pattaya, not far from the Tara Pattana School and a superb family setting, including a children’s play area. In the wake of COVID, they have now released an excellent superb lunchtime menu which is just THB395 for three courses. The high-quality offerings include a salad with smoked duck breast, red tilapia with dill sauce, and an amazing white Belgium chocolate mousse for desserts!
3.Robin Hood
The Robin Hood is located in The Avenue shopping center on Pattaya Second Road. They have a range of promotions available with breakfasts and Friday’s fish and chips possibly being the most attractive. This is a great setting in the heart of town where you can relax in a genuine pub-like atmosphere. The food portions are large, so make sure that you have built up a healthy appetite before you visit!
4.Aroi
The popular Aroi Pub and Resto are located on Soi Chiayapruek 2 and is an excellent venue with an outstanding wine selection. The food is delicious, and you can get the opportunity to try as much of it as you would like with their “all you can eat” offer, which is available on Thursdays and Fridays. Not surprisingly, this has proved to be very popular, so booking in advance is recommended.
5.Restaurant Domicil
The Restaurant Domicil is on Pattaya Second Road between Central Festival and Pattaya Klang. It is a well-established Austrian restaurant with a reputation for superb food, especially amongst the German contingent in Pattaya. However, it is now getting the wider recognition that it deserved, and since COVID, they have been offering up to a third off many of their western dishes. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with the food being of the highest order.
6.Wok Express
Wok Express is located on Pratamnak Hill between soi 5 and soi 6 and offers an extensive range of Chinese, Thai, and western food. The food is excellent, and the venue is perfect for those living or working in the area as the food is prepared quickly but fresh. Each day they have special offers which are incredibly attractive although their regular prices are very reasonable.
