Ban Amphur, to the south of Jomtien, is renowned for its fine beaches, luxury hotels, and great restaurants. As you would imagine, there are some excellent low and high-rise condos in the area, many of which are just a stone’s throw away from the beach. Although some are slightly older, they have lost none of their appeals and are still regarded as luxury residences in an upmarket area of the city. Here are just a few of the standout options.
1. Jomtien Beach Resort
Although Jomtien Beach Resort is in Jomtien, the beautiful beaches of Ban Amphur are just a few minute’s drives away, and the location of the condo makes this a straightforward journey. The condo represents excellent value for money and has good facilities. Close by you will find all the usual amenities, including shops, bars, and restaurants with schools and hospitals also relatively close by. All in all, this is a great option for Jomtien or Ban Amphur.
2. Krisada Golden Condotel
The Krisada Golden Condotel is one of the older condos in the area having been completed back in 1996. It is situated on the Sukhumvit Road meaning that access to Ban Amphur, Jomtien, and Central Pattaya is effortless. As you would expect in an older building, the units are bigger than average, although some do need some renovation. Nevertheless, this would be an ideal project for someone, perhaps in their retirement.
3. VIP Condo
VIP Condo is situated close to the Krisad in on the outskirts of Na Jomtien and is another of the older but still very desirable properties in the area. Most units offer sea views with the building just a couple of minutes walk away from the beach. The facilities are again very good, with plenty of amenities close by. If you enjoy water sports, this could be an appealing building for you with several facilities located close by.
4. Royal Residence
Royal Residence can be found around 150 metres away from the picturesque Na Jomtien Beach and is an older but well-maintained condo. The facilities are very good, but it is perhaps the location of the property that makes it so appealing. Like many of the others on our list, Royal Residence has more spacious rooms, and once again you will find a plethora of amenities close by. Most units offer sea views from the quiet area of the city.
5. Somphong
Somphong Condo is situated midway between the Sukhumvit Road and the beach. It is well situated for the Floating Market, Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens, and the Cartoon Network water park. There are several excellent restaurants close by as well as diving and water sports schools. The road links make traveling to Rayong or Pattaya very easy.
6. Baan Somprasong
Situated on the water’s edge in Na Jomtien, this highly desirable low-rise condo ticks many boxes for those wanting to live in the area. Again, it is slightly older, but the facilities are excellent, and the setting is almost perfect.
