Shop until you drop

When you think of Thailand, shopping will feature right up there alongside tropical beaches and Thai cuisine. This is true of Pattaya too, and what makes it even more appealing is in the breadth of things you can buy; from wonderful souvenir shopping – to luxury, from technological – to fashion.

To experience a Thai market, really is to experience something of vibrancy; every stall you pass will offer a new thing to see from sunglasses, t-shirts, watches and cosmetics to, of course, the array of Thai cuisine. For all you bargain hunters this will be something to savour.

Pattaya Markets – A Must See

Pattayas’ largest market can be found at the Thepparasit Night Market which is open from 6pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is highly popular with the locals and tourists. Take your camera as it is in itself a tourist attraction. You will be amazed at the food choice on display! Whereever you are in Pattaya you will find yourself within walking distance of a market, however small it may be. Do take the chance to stroll around one at least once.

World Class Shopping

Shopping does not get much better or bigger than the Central Festival shopping centre that can be located between second and beach road. It boasts over 60 restaurants alone. Whatever you are looking for you will find it here, and once you have finished you can then go on to enjoy a game of ten pin bowls or enjoy a film at their movie theatre too.

Souvenir Hunting at Luk Dod

Chances are you will want to purchase some gifts for your family and friends, or simply pick up a souvenir for yourself. Luk Dod is a huge store dedicated solely to souvenirs and can be located in Soi Youmae in Central Pattaya.

Thai Floating Market

What makes shopping at the Thai Floating Market so much fun is in the authenticity of traditional Thai shopping on water in small canal boats. You can also walk around this market on foot visiting the many shops on offer. The prices are very good value too. It can be located on Sukhumvit Road.

Royal Garden Plaza

The original shopping centre in Pattaya is located in the heart of Pattaya on Beach Road and still going strong. Here you will also find the now world famous Ripleys Believe It or Not Museum and Louis Tussaurds Wax Museum to also keep you more than entertained!

Mikes Shopping Mall

Beach Road and Second Road really are your gate ways to some of the best shopping areas in Pattaya, and it is here also you will find Mikes Shopping Mall. This is a wonderful place for all you bargain hunters, especially when it comes to clothes.

Beach Road

This long stretch along the sandy coast line boasts many small shops selling souvenirs, gadgets and clothes. Traders here will barter and do special deals if you are buy a few items at once. If nothing else it makes for a pleasant stroll while enjoying the ocean breeze!
